Who doesn’t know about BTS in today’s time? By releasing the new solo album, BTS’s RM has proved why he deserves to be the leader of the biggest boyband. His album, Indigo, was released on December 2, 2022. With the release, RM has made another Billboard History.

RM makes Billboard History Once Again
RM became the first Korean male solo artist in history to spend four weeks on the Billboard 200. Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart, which lists the most popular albums in the United States, showed that RM’s solo album Indigo had successfully remained on the chart for a fourth non-consecutive week on January 10. The Billboard 200 charted Indigo at No. 71 for the week ending January 14.
In addition to taking the No. 3 place on both the Top Album Sales list and the Top Current Album Sales chart, “Indigo” also maintained its position at No. 2 on Billboard’s World Albums chart.

What is RM’s Indigo all about?
RM used his songs as if writing his diary. He narrated the experiences that he had gone through in his 20s. He also tries to show his fans who he really is, as an ordinary boy.
Indigo has ten tracks in different genres. It has featured various artists such as Tablo and Youjeen. RM has developed the concept of the album, and music video, written the lyrics, and designed the album.

The Album includes:
Track 1: Yun (with Erykah Badu)
One of the most well-known South Korean contemporary musicians and the song’s subject, Yun Hyong Keun (1928–2007), is featured in the song. His all-time favorite artist is Yun. RM, who is well known for his love of art, has frequently stated his appreciation for Yun’s creations, mentioned how they lift his spirits when he’s sad or exhausted, and even revealed that he owns a few of them.
Track 2: Still Life
Track 3: All Day
The most popular and well-known South Korean hip-hop artists are Tablo and Epik High, who are also RM’s all-time idols. Tablo of Epik High shared his experience with his recent work on Indigo with RM of BTS. Later, he told Rolling Stone that he was working on a new solo album, including, BTS RM. “He sent over a song, and I didn’t even listen to it before saying, ‘Let’s do this!’” Tablo added.
Track 4: 건망증 (Forg_tful)
Although RM penned all of the lyrics for ” (Forg_tful),” including Kim Sawol’s verse, he admitted on The Zach Sang Show that he was first too bashful to approach her about the collaboration.
Track 5: Closer
Track 6: Change pt.2
“Change pt.2,” which is a follow-up to “Change” by RM & Wale, contrasts its predecessor rather than continues it.
While “Change pt.2” is a sardonic and pessimistic perspective on the concept of change, “Change pt.1” focused on society and its positive spirit.
Track 7: Lonely
Track 8: Hectic
Track 9: 들꽃놀이 (Wild Flower)
On ” (Wild Flower),” RM travels back in time to his 20s and explores the internal conflict between achievement and not compromising who you are. The song serves as the first single from RM’s debut studio album, Indigo. Youjeen, the frontman for Cherry Filter, who is RM’s idol and a legendary South Korean rocker, joined the songwriting process in 2019. In the music video, RM is seen with two sides, one in a field of daisies and butterflies and the other in flames with nothing left except smoke clouds and uprooted trees. The setting is surrounded by a gorgeous natural landscape. Near the conclusion, RM starts rapping in front of a large crowd while wearing a sparkly blue mic.
Track 10: No.2

The BTS leader haven’t yet confirmed his military enlistment date. Although, he would be joining the military by 2024. The eldest member of the boyband, Jin, has already been enlisted.
